Looking for active friends at the Oceanfront w4w Hi there! First and foremost, I'M ABSOLUTELY NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN A FRIEND! I'm very happily engaged. :)
I do have some friends and acquaintances in the area, but none of them really enjoy the same activities as I do, the ones that did have moved away. I'm self sufficent and I don't mind doing activities alone and I can entertain myself for days, I'm not needy, but it would be nice to have a friend or two to hang out with once in a while, someone who doesn't just talk about doing stuff but who actually follows through and does it, without me begging them to, someone who is reliable- but of course I do understand that sometimes things do come up. I live right at the Oceanfront and I would prefer it if you lived in this area too. I workout often, run (I did the 1/2 Shamrock last year and I'm considering doing the full this coming year), yoga, lift weights, I live a healthy lifestyle for the most part, but there are times when I love to pig out on pizza and ice cream- hey, I'm only human. ;) I do go out to the Oceanfront once in a while to bar hop, at this point in my life only once every couple of months usually, if that. I'm a huge fan of the outdoors and like to hike and camp (I like to drink beer while camping) and now that the cooler weather is coming up I'll be going more often. Animals are a big part of my life, I have pets and I volunteer at a shelter, chances are if you're not a fan of animals that we won't get along, I personally think people who dislike animals are a little odd. ;) I often ride my cruiser bike around the Oceanfront, it would be great if you have a bike too, I also walk my dog along the boardwalk almost daily when it's not too hot, if you have a dog that's another plus! I like antique stores, vintage things, garage sales, clothes shopping, cooking (I eat seafood but no other meat), I'd like to become a little more girly- learn how to do makeup etc..., I enjoy trying new things, self improvement- there's always room to improve yourself, but I'm nowhere near perfect or a goody two shoes type person, not at all. I ask that you be pretty open minded, not a sad sack, fairly outgoing but not an in your face type because that gets annoying, drug free and I prefer that you don't have children because it's hard to make plans with people who do, sorry if I offended those of you with children, I'm just being honest. My Fiance is in the Navy, we have been together for almost seven years, he's looking for new friends too so maybe if you have a boyfriend/Fiance or Husband we could all hang out sometime and go on double dates and if the guys got along great that would be a real added bonus. What you look like, race etc is irrelevant, I'm looking for a true friend, being reliable and having similar interests is what matters to me.
